Sometimes I come across a card created by someone else and it just speaks to me.   This is one of those cards.  I love copper foil paper and this card caught and held my attention.  The site I found it on is paperconversation.typepad.com owned by Mickey Roberts.  The only thing I changed was the doily beneath the copper tag.  Ruching ribbon has never been a strong point for me.  Here is my version of her card.

It was hard to photograph without getting a reflection.  Isn't it a thing of beauty?  Mickey was very generous on her site, so I hope you will visit her. Now for the directions.

The card base is Sahara Sand. On that, adhere a So...

Good Morning!  How was your weekend? There is no "weekend" for nurses, but I do look forward to my time off, especially to spend with all of you and creating cards!  My card today is a shaker card.  They are so interactive and everyone loves to shake them and see the movement.  Here it is:

Hello everyone.  This is my very first blog post.  Ever.  Welcome. I wanted to share a great Valentine's Day card we made in club. Here's a picture. Don't you just love that little envelope with Love-Note inside?  Except for the heart embossing folder, all of the elements for this card are made with the Sealed with Love bundle in the Stampin Up!  Occasions catalog.  I will have a full list of all the items I used plus card cut sizes.

I used my BigShot to cut the diagonal heart banner across the bottom of the front layer.  I just eyeballed it to make sure the bottom heart wasn't too close to the edge. Then I took the top section that was left and ran...

I have been a Stampin Up Demonstrator since 2008.  For someone who thought she didn't have a creative bone in her body, SU has taught me that with the right tools and inspiration anyone can create beautiful things to share.

I'm married to the love of my life and we live on a ridge in Tennessee. Between our four children, they have given us 10 grandchildren, and we love the fullness of our lives.

I hope you will join me on this journey and explore new and favorite ways to express your creative self!
